A Solo Evening with GARY LUCAS:
"One of the best and most original guitarists in America…a modern guitar miracle" (Rolling Stone) "One of the 100 greatest living guitarists" (Classic Rock Magazine) "The Thinking Man's Guitar Hero" (The New Yorker)
This 75 min. solo concert covers Gary's emergence in the early 80's as a force to be reckoned with as the acclaimed solo guitarist on Captain Beefheart's final albums, "Doc at the Radar Station" and "Ice Cream for Crow"... to co-writing and performing "Grace" and "Mojo Pin" on the late Jeff Buckley's two-million selling "Grace" album, universally rated "One of the Best Albums of All Time"... to releasing over 30 celebrated solo albums in his own right in many different genres, including avant-rock, folk, blues, world, classical, jazz, and electronic dance— and touring the world relentlessly in over 40 countries to date.
During this retrospective concert, Gary performs selections covering his entire career and recorded output:

including original compositions, country blues, Zappa fantasias, 30's Chinese pop, famous film themes, arrangements of Wagner and Dvorak, and more—

a virtual history of music in his fingertips.

He also pays tribute to his late friends and collaborators Captain Beefheart and Jeff Buckley,

showing rare video clips and telling fascinating tales of working with them,

and performs some of his signature songs with them, with special guest vocalists tba.

A total tour de force,

from the man called "The world's most popular avant-guitarist" (The Independent).
