Beardyman presents
One Album
per Hour: The Dream
Team Sessions
Join an impromptu supergroup consisting of some of the worlds greatest living
musicians for a thrilling, bumping, mind-altering masterclass
in musical improvisation.
Following
his critically acclaimed and sold-out "One Album per Hour"
shows, Beardyman
brought in friends including the legendary Jack Black, Tim Minchin and Peter Serafinowicz to
produce each album in a ground breaking series in partnership with Google and
YouTube, breaking barriers within both creativity and technology.
As part
of London's Jazz Cafe's 25th anniversary, he's taking this unique show to
another level, where he's bringing in his Dream Team of musical collaborators
to help him make two brand new albums over two nights on the 20th and 21st
April.
On the
20th April he's focussing on a musical powerhouse including:
Gary Lucas:
One of
the greatest living guitarists. His sounds are not of this
world. Captain Beefheart's lead guitarist,
co-wrote Grace with Jeff Buckley and is the musical force
behind his Gods and Monsters supergroup amongst many
other accolades.

Steve Lawson:
One of
the world’s greatest and most distinctive bassists. He is a
live-looping and effects master in his own right, regarded and respected the
world over for pushing the bass guitar to it's limits and then way beyond.
Facing the End of the Universe
Andy Gangadeen:
The great
Andy Gangadeen is quite simply the most sought after
and accomplished drummer in the world. His work has ranged from Massive Attack
to Duran Duran, Jeff Beck to the Chase and Status and
his own supergroup
This is Beardyman's musical dream team of improvisational legends.
It's set to be a night of staggeringly gorgeous and breathtakingly epic music.
On the
21st April Beardyman's One Album per Hour: The Dream
Team Sessions will focus on an improvisational supergroup
of vocalists and freestyle MCs. We're having to keep these as secret 'special
guests' for now, but will be soon revealing who will be joining Beardyman to make the second album made with the audience
within an hour. Get your tickets fast!!
We're
offering 50 special tickets for both nights at £25, first come, first served, here
