Broken Languages Short Poem - Concert
Pavel Zajíček and Gary Lucas
Saturday, November 8, 7 pm
Czech Center New York, 321 East 73rd Street, NYC

Pavel Zajíček is a poet, musician and artist from Prague. He established his band DG307 and was at the very heart of Prague's underground scene in the 1970s, when the regime was slowly and systematically paring away at all the reforms of the decade before. He was imprisoned for his poetry in the 70’s by the communist government in a trial with Plastic People of the Universe.
Gary Lucas is a world class guitar hero, a Grammy-nominated songwriter, an international recording artist with over a dozen acclaimed solo albums to date, and a soundtrack composer for film and television.
