Lucas Collaborates with Coyne

Gary Lucas traveled to Dusseldorf in November to work with legendary English singer/songwriter Kevin Coyne, and cut two tracks for Kevin's upcoming album on Rockport Records. Coyne, who has worked with such sterling guitarists in the past as Andy Summers (The Police), has long been a hero of Gary's and their collaboration spawned the Lucas/Coyne songs "Wonderland" and "Where's the Sweetness."

The sessions and interviews with Kevin and Gary were filmed by German state TV WDR and were broadcast recently over there.

The new album will be out in the spring.
