Gary Lucas   what's new

Gary's performance of "The Golem" at the New York Jewish Film Festival a smashing success

Gary Lucas opened the New York Jewish Film Festival with a performance of his solo score for "The Golem" (1920), with a stunning 35-millimeter print of the film. The score was performed Sunday, January 11th at the Walter Reade Theater in Lincoln Center, New York City to universal acclaim. The event was attended by several luminaries, including MTV's Kurt Loder and Jeff Buckley's mother Mary Guibert.

Gary flew out the next day to begin a European tour by performing "The Golem" in Ljubljana, Slovenia; his first visit to the country which is the home of the (in)famous Laibach!
