"Trust Me" Documentary with Original Music by Gary Airs on Showtime
"Trust Me", a documentary by Rob Fruchtman about an interfaith summer
camp for Christian, Jewish and Muslim children, had its Showtime channel
US premiere on December 9th. It features original music by Gary performed
on his Gibson J-45 (circa 1946) and National steel Duolian (circa 1927),
and it follows in the tradition of Gary's tv scores for ABC News ("Who
Killed Martin Luther King?", among several) and HBO ("Lalee's
Kin"—which just was awarded the Dupont-Columbia Award for Best Documentary). The
film will be rebroadcast nationally on the Family Channel this month.
