Magic Band Sells Out London and Edinburgh

On Friday January 23rd The Magic Band feathuring Gary, John French, Denny Walley and Mark Boston triumphed before a sold-out screaming crowd of 2000 plus rabid Beefheart fanatics at London's famed Royal Festival Hall—then repeated the magic the next night in the intimate confines of Edinburgh's Liquid Room. This was the band's second major appearance in London this year following their spectacular debut last April at Shepard's Bush Empire, and the group did not disappoint the second time around—particular highlights were an extended version of "Mirror Man" and for diehard fans a real blast from the past, a stomping version of the first Beefheart single "Diddy Wah Diddy".
