Gary's Hat Raises $455 at Auction for People for The American Way!

In a generally cautious auction season, the sale of Gary's 2003 tour hat last week on eBay as part of Auction for the American Way, the annual fundraising drive for People for the American Way (http://www.pfaw.org/) raised a healthy $455 for the activist grass-roots political organization. Gary was in sterling company as memorabilia items from Radiohead, Coldplay, Patti Smith, The Offspring, Cindy Sherman, Frank Gehry, Robert Rauschenberg and many other prominent musicians, artists, architects, actors, film makers and writers fell under the eBay auction hammer, the proceeds going to what Gary feels is an extremely worthy cause.
