Gary's Wall of Sound

In the first week of August, "The Wall" from Gary's "The Edge of Heaven" album (Label Bleu, 2001) was coincidentally (or not!) played on both the national French radio (France Inter) and the BBC World Service (John Peel's program). Originally recorded by the Shanghai diva Bai Kwong, Gary's version of this soulful Chinese pop classic has proven to be one of his most-requested numbers on air and in concert, as featured on his biggest-selling solo album to date.
