PEARLY CLOUDS

Gary has joined forces with Hungarian traditional folk star vocalist Enikő Szabó and Serbian saxophonist Tóni Dezső to create a new ensemble—PEARLY CLOUDS—an indescribably haunting sound based on Eniko's lovely voice singing traditional Hungarian folk and contemporary lyrics, Gary's arsenal of guitar stylings acoustic and electric, and Toni's haunting saxophone—bluesy, spacy, otherworldly, inhabiting the spaces between psychedelic folk, soundscape electronica, and rootsy blues. Their debut album was recorded in Feb. 2015 at Tom-Tom Studios in Budapest, and is scheduled for a 2016 release through Discovery Records UK.

Rave review for Pearly Clouds just in from Jazz Weekly: "Wondrous and wonderful. Nothing to compare it to—like travelling to uncharted lands."

Pearly Clouds performed last year in Budapest London and at the Sziget Festival, the largest open-air music festival in Europe, and were extremely well received by audiences at all shows.
