Gary just sold-out his show opening the Bergamo Film Festival in Italy with his live score accompanying Luis Bunuel's 1962 surrealist classic EL ANGEL EXTERMINADOR in the 13th century Church of Saint Augustine in Bergamo.

Today, Friday March 1st Gary will be performing solo acoustic in dialogue with "POETRY AND PROSE: THE SCREEN TESTS OF ANDY WARHOL" exhibition now on at the Ki Smith Gallery, 170 Forsyth Street bet. Stanton and Rivington in lower Manhattan.
He'll be joined by his very special guests Tammy Faye and Barry Reynolds between 7:30 and 9:30pm.

He'd flown in all the way from France on his own dime. We hit it off right away, and I started sending him music and putting him onstage with me in the UK and France. The result is our new EP, recorded in Forges-les-Eaux Normandie, produced by David Konopnicki, and out now on Noa Music."

Gary recently scored 3 new episodes of WE SPEAK NYC, a public television series sponsored by the NYC Mayor's Office for Immigrant Affairs. View the trailer here. A long-running series about newly arrived immigrants to the city attempting to cope with New York's particular brand of insanity, the series features my longtime partner Feifei Yang and Argentine singer/actress Carmen Borla among other cool actors and was produced by David Hellman. Special thanks to Erdem Helvacioglu who engineered the sessions and contributed additional music.
